Nilgiri Project consists of a series of vernacular playgrounds that were built to introduce learning through play in the rural schools of India. The objective was to make the rural learning environment more inviting and responsive by adding quick and unique interventions in a cost-friendly manner. The playgrounds are constructed using local Nilgiri timber, automobile waste and reused steel.
